“This week, we’ve been working hard in our organic garden. We started by pulling up the weeds and enriching the soil with natural compost to make it more fertile. We also covered the planters with protective netting to stop the birds from eating our young shoots and to limit the impact of the sun.
With Salvador, a botany teacher, we went to a nursery. There, we chose medicinal plants, aromatic plants, honey plants for our bees… and even cacti, which are very hardy and decorative. Back at school, we planted all our new plants and started preparing compost to nourish the soil naturally.
Our garden is getting more beautiful every day, and we’re learning to become proper gardeners.”
