Our kindergarten pupils embarked on a fantastic adventure to discover the animals of the sea! This exciting project enabled them to explore the seabed and learn more about its mysterious inhabitants.
To prepare for this great journey, the children read albums, watched documentaries and created their own imaginary sea animals, while learning new songs about the ocean.
The highlight of their exploration was a visit to the Havana Aquarium. Guided by an animator, they were able to observe a multitude of marine species up close, touch shells and listen to the fascinating sounds of the underwater world. It was a sensory experience packed with discoveries!
Back in the classroom, the adventure continued! The ‘budding artists’ made magnificent frames from the shells they had collected. They also designed a large poster to raise awareness of ocean protection, and even took care of cleaning the class aquarium.
This project has been a wonderful opportunity to enrich their vocabulary, arouse their curiosity and raise awareness of the importance of preserving marine biodiversity. The children are proud to share their discoveries and achievements with the whole school, in the form of an exhibition and stories.
Congratulations to our young explorers for their commitment and enthusiasm!
