The French education community pays tribute to Mélanie G

Today, the LFIH joins in the mourning of the entire French educational community.

This morning, the entire LFIH community came together, along with schools in France and the AEFE network, to pay tribute to a young 31-year-old supervisor who was the victim of a senseless act of violence at a secondary school in Nogent, France.

Moved by this tragedy, our secondary and CM2 students, accompanied by their teachers and the educational team, observed a minute’s silence in her memory.

It was a moment of contemplation, respect and solidarity with his family, colleagues and students.

At the LFIH, we reaffirm that the school must remain a safe place, a place of listening and peace.

A place where every pupil can express themselves, be supported and grow with values such as respect, justice and fraternity.
