And so we celebrated the 2026 Science Festival at the LFIH! Centred on the theme ‘Scientific Flavours’, our pupils from Year 7 to A-Level, as well as the girls in Year 11 studying the Physics and Chemistry specialism, explored science through food: taste, dissolution, pH, colourings, chemical transformations and even energy.
Experiments, observations and practical projects enabled them to link the concepts studied in class to phenomena that are very much part of our everyday lives.
