On Tuesday 27 January, Year 11 and Year 13 students had the opportunity to discover the ‘Real Maravilloso’ exhibition at the Alliance Française.
This outing allowed students to immerse themselves in a unique artistic and cultural universe, at the crossroads of history, literature and visual arts. Through the works on display, they explored the concept of the marvellous real, an emblematic trend in Latin America that blends historical reality, imagination and cultural identity.
This visit provided a concrete and sensitive approach to the concepts covered in class: world cultures, forms of artistic expression and the construction of the imagination.
It was an enriching outing that sparked curiosity, discussion and reflection, and illustrated the importance of cultural openness in our students’ educational journey.
