The 120th anniversary of the 1905 Act commemorated with the visit of the Cuban Women’s National Football Team

9 December | #SecularismDay: Today, we commemorate the 1905 law that enshrined secularism as a pillar of education in France. It is a living principle that today breathes life into our corridors, playgrounds and classrooms.

We celebrate it with a concrete example:

Amaranta, our Year 3 pupil, has been shortlisted for the Cuban national women’s football team. Her merit, effort and talent have paved the way for this achievement.

Our Young Reporters and her classmates organised a warm welcome, filled with questions, applause and emotion.

It was a moment that reflects our commitment to an education based on reason, equal opportunities and fraternity.

Congratulations, Amaranta! The whole LFIH is with you in this dream.
