During Spanish class, Year 1 pupils carried out two key experiments on the states of water. In the first, they observed how liquid water flows and changes shape, while in the second, they explored the solid state of water, i.e. ice. These experiments not only gave them a better understanding of the subject matter, but also highlighted the vital importance of water for life on our planet, this precious resource known as ‘liquid gold’. In addition, they encouraged them to think about how we can contribute to its preservation and responsible use.
