Two weeks to get involved at school!

Two weeks to get involved at school!

From 22 September to 3 October, our school held its Engagement Weeks, a key event dedicated to democratic and civic life within the school.

Week 1: informing, raising awareness… and playing!

Students discovered the different ways they can get involved in the school – class representatives, eco-representatives, members of the CVC-CVL, anti-bullying ambassadors – through a fun activity: an escape game about the school’s governing bodies.

This original approach aimed to inform and motivate students to get involved in the democratic life of the school.

It was also during this week that we received the nominations for the elections.

Week 2: time for campaigning!

The pupils had the opportunity to learn about the candidates’ projects and motivations.

Sharing experiences: former elected representatives meet students

Last year’s elected representatives came together to share their experiences at two stands during the lunch break:

– A CVC-CVL stand and

– An eco-delegates stand,

where they talked to their classmates about their actions and commitments.

Well done to all the students who participated, applied or simply took the time to find out more!

These two weeks have shown that student engagement is everyone’s business.
