As part of the sensory journey organised for Early Years Education Week, our pupils continued their exploration with a session dedicated to the world of sounds.
Accompanied by their usual teachers and the music teacher, the children discovered the difference between sound and music by listening to and identifying sounds in their surroundings.
They talked about pleasant sounds, such as the sea or the wind, and others that were less pleasant.
Through listening games, they also identified animal sounds, an activity that the youngest children performed just as well as the older ones.
To finish, they completed their sound chart, drawing scenes full of sounds they like: the beach, the mountains or nature.
A wonderful experience that stimulated listening, imagination and language.
