The courtyard of the LIFH Alejo Carpentier in Havana was filled with an atmosphere that was both solemn and warm during the graduation ceremony. Pupils, teachers and families had gathered to celebrate an important milestone in the academic journey of the Year 10 pupils: the award of the Secondary School Certificate.
