Every year, the Lyc\u00e9e Fran\u00e7ais International de La Havane Alejo Carpentier devotes an entire month to the celebration of languages. Of course, we honour French, Spanish and English, the three main languages of our school, which our students use every day with the ambition that 100% of them finish their schooling trilingual.<\/p>

But this year, through the Yo tambi\u00e9n hablo… exhibition, we also wanted to highlight the many mother tongues, vernaculars and ancestral languages that resonate in our community. In this way, we are highlighting the multicultural richness that makes up the identity of our school.<\/p>

Italian, Portuguese, Afar, Bambara, Moor\u00e9, Creole, Berber, Arabic, Kabyle, Russian, German, Breton, Danish and Icelandic are just some of the languages spoken at our school. Much more than just a means of communication, these languages reflect the history, traditions and identities of our pupils. They reflect their backgrounds, their roots and the diversity that enriches us every day.<\/p>

To recognise and celebrate them is to affirm that each language brings a unique vision of the world and encourages open-mindedness. It is also a reminder that mastery of several languages, whether learned or inherited, is a valuable strength in a connected and multicultural world.<\/p>

This exhibition is therefore a tribute to the languages of our community, a testimony to our strong commitment to multilingualism and an invitation to listen, discover and exchange in all the languages that make the heart of the Lyc\u00e9e Fran\u00e7ais International de La Havane Alejo Carpentier beat faster.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
