L\u2019EDD est une \u00e9ducation transversale qui doit permettre aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves de s\u2019approprier les enjeux de la lutte contre le changement climatique et de la pr\u00e9servation de la biodiversit\u00e9 , de fa\u00e7on scientifique, p\u00e9dagogique et civique. Elle permet d\u2019appr\u00e9hender les dimensions environnementales, sociales, \u00e9conomiques et civiques du d\u00e9veloppement durable. C\u2019est dans ce cadre que le Minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Education Nationale assure l\u2019\u00e9ducation de tous les \u00e9l\u00e8ves au d\u00e9veloppement durable et au respect de l\u2019environnement. Le Minist\u00e8re pr\u00e9cise que les \u00e9coles et \u00e9tablissements doivent devenir, de mani\u00e8re syst\u00e9matique, des lieux d\u2019exemplarit\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re de protection de
